Art2Wear Production Involvement

Art2Wear is an educational event where students gain experience by coordinating and producing an annual wearable art production. Young designers are challenged to imagine, create, and inspire by expressing their point of view through wearable art. This highly anticipated show fuses the talents of several departments in the College of Design and beyond, exposing student designers to the broader field of wearable art, digital media production, and fashion. A2W attracts attendees from all over the Triangle by encouraging participation through engaging the student body, the Raleigh community, and the broader design industry.

Art2Wear 2025: Revive

In 2025, I was one of the student co-directors of Art2Wear! It was an honor to be chosen to fulfill this role! The show will take place at NC State's Gregg on April 24th, 2025. Visit the website linked above to get tickets!

I co-directed alongside my best friend Keerthi Nagapudi, which makes this production even more special to me (as seen on the right).

I've touched many parts of this production and feel so proud to call this my work. I've aided in producing visuals for the branding in our promo shoots and in our booklet, along with screen printing fabric posters to spread curiosity about the event. This experience has taught me a lot about outreach, the importance of community, being an encouraging leader, and about the teamwork that goes into running a production like this.

Art2Wear 2024: Idolomantis Diabolica

In 2024, I participated as a single-look designer for Art2Wear: Dimensions. This look was based on a Devil's Flower Mantis. This personified bug-clown was performed by me on April 24th, 2024. This look went on to be displayed at the Gregg Museum the following year at the exhibit Art2Wear: Through the Archives.
